Logline: Iris is depressed— she has a soul-sucking job, a possessive boyfriend and a superficial social scene. So when she meets the charmingly sincere and self-possessed Ruta at a party, she feels like she’s finally found a real friend. But as the two become closer, much closer, and the people in Iris’ life begin to disappear or fall ill, she realizes that Ruta might have a different (and dangerous) definition of best friendship.
