OLIVIA JAMPOL
Olivia (she/her) is a bilingual writer, director, and actor living in Brooklyn. She grew up on a coffee farm & hotel in Costa Rica and studied filmmaking at Harvard University. Her films are surreal and subversive, set in surprising and immersive worlds, combining elements of horror, magical realism, psychological thriller, and dark comedy, and feature unapologetically complex female and/or outsider perspectives.
Most recently, Olivia was named as MovieMaker Magazine & Austin Film Fest’s “25 Screenwriter’s to Watch” for 2026! Past screenwriters to watch include Clint Bentley & Greg Kwedar (Train Dreams, Sing Sing), Megan Park (My Old Ass), VJ Boyd (The Madness), Austin Kolodney (Dead Man’s Wire), Zarna Garg (A Nice Indian Boy), and Glen Powell (Hit Man), to name a few.
Olivia is currently in development of her feature directorial debut, HOMESTALKER, a surreal psychological thriller set in Brooklyn. The script was shortlisted for the Sundance Development Lab, a semifinalist for the Black List Features Lab and the Austin Film Festival (including for the Enderby Entertainment Award).
HOMESTALKER was 1 of 14 narrative features to participate in the 2025 Gotham Project Market Week, where it was honored as a “U.S. Feature In Development to Watch” at the Gotham Week Honors!
Olivia is also an AEA/SAG-AFTRA actress, recognized for her strong presence and sense of humor.
