Beatrice

Come see BEATRICE, a workshop of a full-length play by Elijah Haran Guo, directed by The Flea Resident Director, Ria T. DiLullo. It is a beautiful, funny and moving play based loosely on the figure at the center of Dante's Vita Nuova and Divine Comedy. I'll be playing the ancient Priestess, Dulcina.

We will be performing at:
The Producer's Club, The Sonnet
April 11th @ 7pm
April 12th @ 12pm, 3pm & 7pm

Beatrice Portinari is just another badass girl who plays the flute. Except for the fact that she lives in Medieval 13th Century Italy. And music really sucks because there's no polyphony. And society has forced her to marry. And she's being followed by this really annoying guy who keeps writing poems about her. BEATRICE is a story of Heaven and Hell, life and death, love and loss, a woman ahead of her time, and the number three.
